Sunny and Hot! I’m getting old. Sitting in sand in the heat of the midday sun is not high on my list of fun things to do. However, watching the boys have an absolute blast in the water was worth it. The water was cold but they got used to it pretty fast and spent several hours swimming and goofing off. Anyway, we’re off to Maine next. We have a long ride ahead of us today. We are currently in a little town called Pocomoke, Maryland in a hotel. Enjoy photos at my flickr page and have a great weekend.

Well, I guess it’s about time I put an update on my blog. So much is going on, I haven’t made time to update the blog. The boys are out of school, working is busier than ever, and all kinds of new things are going on at church. Ben is doing okay in Iraq. He had a bad month where he was REALLY bummed and tired of being there. He’s a lot better now. Vacation is coming up very soon. I am looking forward to a nice week and a half break. We will be enjoying Maine again.
There is nothing better on earth than family!! We’re in Clarksville and I’m at my son’s house (Ben) and I’m watching all my boys, Ben, Thomas, Daniel, and Timothy playing cards with Jo Ann and Sebrina, Ben’s wife. It’s rare that we are actually all together at the same time in the same room. They’re playing that great Southern classic called Rook. Jo Ann seems to be beating them all. We had more snow today. It didn’t last long but it was nice to watch. We still have an hour drive home to Fairview and one stop at a friend’s house. He just got his book published. I’ll have to put something on the blog when I see the book.
